Greetings from Montpellier, France where the sun never sets! It's freezing cold and I love it! I have so much to tell, but I still have to fix my stuff in the room. I haven't been online for the past days because our "brother" (He's 35, but super hot OMG!) forgot the password for the wi-fi here at home and only fixed it this morning. I know you guys miss me, and now your wish is granted! We will get to talk everyday! Yayz! Haha. Our host family is really hospitable and our "mom" makes great food! Speaking of food, the food here is increable! :D Will update again perhaps later. Photos (tons) will follow soon! :) Love and miss you guys! Bisoux! :)

Hi guys! I'm leaving for Europe on Saturday afternoon. Since I may not be able to post anytime before then since our Internet here at home has been fucked up for the past few days, I have resorted to leeching off our neighbor's wi-fi (desperate times call for desperate measures). Sheesh, I'm excited as hell, but also scared as fuck! Waaaaaaah! I've just finished packing my ginormous piece of luggage earlier today, but I think I must remove some stuff to accommodate my future purchases. So there. I will miss you and I will definitely see you guys when I get back! Wish me bonne chance! :D Enjoy your summer mes amis! :)

After weeks (more like months) of endless complaints, sleepless nights, and futile attempts to salvage my dismal semester; I am finally free from the shackles of academic torture! This summer promises to be one for the books because of several reasons including the long-awaited return of Trizza Cruz ([info]sweetfix) and the Eurotrip which is only two weeks away! Summer 2008 was off to a great start yesterday with Bea ([info]_s1mone), Pam, and Mok having late lunch (aka pigging out) and watching Gossip Girl here at home. It was lots of fun, but we missed Cams and Domeng terribly! I can't wait to see you guys! Overnight at Bea's next week? :)

Now that I am no longer tied down to anything academic in nature, I have a lot of time on my hands doing what I do best -  nothing. Haha. But there are some things I have to accomplish before I leave and here are a few.
  • Clean my room. It's in terrible condition. Piles of handouts, readings, and books all over. This also includes cleaning my closet. I am irked that no matter how often I attempt to organize it, after a few days, it's back to its messy condition. :(
  • See some good movies. The summer blockbuster movies are on their way, but before that, I gotta have my dose of some feel-good, tear-jerking, laugh-out-loud flicks.
  • Exercise! Haha, even just a bit. Probably some jogging around the village. It isn't as easy as it looks because if you've been to where I live, my village is not exactly on flat terrain. :|
  • Spend time with my friends. Especially those I haven't seen in a while. I miss and will miss you guys! Let's go out soon! Or just bum at someone's house. :)
That's it I guess. I wish everyone will have a fantastic summer! See you when I see you! :D

What is the most valuable thing you've ever had stolen from you?

View 500 Answers

I've never lost a wallet, a watch, any gadget, or any other expensive item. Personally, the most valuable thing a person could ever lose is something that isn't measured by monetary value. If that's the case, then the most valuable thing that I've ever had that has been stolen from me is my heart. Cheesy, but definitely true.

The distance is quite simply much too far for me to row
It seems farther than ever before
Oh, no - "Transatlanticism", Death Cab for Cutie

This song has got to be one of my all-time favorites. Although it would have had a more personal connection three years ago, the current context I'm in makes me think that the connection is still there. It's like this you see. I like this guy. I've liked him on-off for quite some time now. And I'm willing to take a risk with him (because I think I like him that much), but it's just too darn complicated. Just thinking about it scares me haha. And considering I haven't seriously liked anyone in ages, this is something ginormous in terms of my personal life. Haha. Okay, that just highlighted how dreary my personal life has become. This is something I really want (there, I've finally admitted it!), so why isn't the entire universe conspiring for me to achieve it ?

Absence does NOT always make the heart grow fonder. :( I need you so much closer!

PS: One more final exam to go until liberation! :D

I hate hate hate Accounting. I should have avoided it while I was able to, and took IR instead. But due to my brilliant lack of better judgment, I have to live with the consequences of taking that God damned subject. Oh well, c'est la vie! :( Anywaaaay, we had our last History 18.2 class today, and I just have to say that I love that class (although I kinda fucked up the last long test). And I will miss Sir Tirol and his crazy and morbid, but informative PowerPoint presentations and lectures. Haha. He's on my list of favorite professors along with Sir Dave Lozada (who coincidentally also teaches History) and Sir Larry Ypil (my Eng101 and Lit 14 prof during Freshman year).

Today also, we had our play for French class. Good job guys! :D AND I (thinkhopepray) got excempted from taking the History finals on Wednesday next week! Yeahhhhh!!! Forgive the excessive use of exclamation points, but it's the only shining light in my dismal second semester. I computed for my pre-final grade and it reached the B+ mark which he requires for excemption. Official results will be out by tomorrow though. I really hope I get a decent QPI although I don't think that's possible thanks to Fuckounting and Fuckonomics! :((

I'm off to Pangasinan with the fam on Thursday for some semblance of a vacation, but I have to be back on Sunday for the exams next week. Thanks for the wonderful schedule Ateneo! What a brilliant idea to have the Finals after Holy Week. Really, thanks. Haha.

It's less than a month until we leave for France! Do I officially start the coundown now? Hahaha. I can't wait! Je suis très excité!!! :D

And for the first time in a very long time, I get to rest. Bonne nuit! :)

The homestretch! Less than two weeks of academics, and a week of finals to go then it's bye bye Sophomore year. I can't believe how fast time files (yeah, how cliche), but don't you agree? ACK. It's gonna be a uphill climb from here. There is still a shitload of things to accomplish before les vacances grandes! I won't even attempt to enumerate them because it will only remind me of the things that I have yet to do, thus depress me. Seriously, I can't waiiiiiit for all this to be over. :)

Since I did well on the History LT2, and because my groupmates & I kicked ass with our paper; I treated myself by going to the bookstore and purchasing four new books today. Although I am not one to celebrate this time of year, I just found some stuff from PostSecret.com which I found very apt for all the right, but at the same time, very different reasons. :)

AND

P.S.:
Credit where credit is due. Kudos to Patsy, Leelee, and Bea ([info]_s1mone)! Good job guys! :D
